The George Strawberry Festival presented by Ola made sure that not only the kids would be entertained. Adults and families relaxed at the SAB Beer Garden while local artists performed on the RSA Group Music Stage. Friends and families enjoyed fun giant-sized classics in the Mc Donald’s Games Garden. Redberry Farm offered an array of activities to choose from. Sticky berry fun in the Redberry Farm Strawberry Stomping competition. Many entered the Adult Strawberry Eat Off Competition and tried to break the record of 1,669kg of strawberries devoured in 3 minutes! Shopaholics were treated to an array of unique stalls in the Outdoor Country Market.

The SAB Beer Garden is the perfect spot to sit back and relax while live performances by local musicians from the Garden Route, entertain festival goers with a refreshing beverage in their hand.

Adults competed to find out how many strawberries they could wolf down in 3 minutes and attempted to beat the record of 1.669kg.
1st place: Emil Steyn - 1,563kg
2nd Place: Atman Oberholzer - 1,210kg
3rd Place: Luti Boonzaaier - 1,111kg

The RSA Group Music Stage with performances throughout the day is a popular spot to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while relaxing with a beer from the South African Breweries bar. Local musicians and bands are given an opportunity to showcase their talents.
